Sansa Stark by SariSariola Sansa Stark by SariSariola
Sansa Stark from the George R R Martin series Game of Thrones/Songs of Fire and Ice.
There are steps from sketch to finished piece in my blog [link]

***EDIT***
I changed the background a bit as I wasn't 100% happy with the "red halo" around her head. Also did some additional shading. You can still see the earlier version here [link]

In my view, it is the best portret of Sansa Stark.

I love it- the braid around her head looks like a crown of thorns- definite religious feel to it

her eyes are wonderful, they really stand out and they have the most beautiful icy-blue color. Love it!

*SPOILER ALERT*

I love how you captured the "emptyness" in her eyes! She had a great apathy after she was shown her fathers staked head. You portraited her VERY well :D I like this version better than your first, great improvement!

Thank you very much! She is a difficult character to portray as she is full of emotion but keeps them buried so deep inside that one can't see it on the surface.
